HUDSON OAKS – A motorcycle rider who reportedly led police officers on a pursuit through the Hudson Oaks and the Annettas Wednesday night was taken to a hospital after the chase ended in a crash.
The man, whose name was not released Thursday, was transported to Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth by LifeCare. Charges were pending, police said.
The incident began shortly before 9:30 p.m. when police were dispatched regarding a possible domestic disturbance, according to a Hudson Oaks Police Department statement.
A woman reported her intoxicated husband was following her on his motorcycle and attempting to run her off the roadway, according to police.
Responding officers located the vehicles eastbound on I-20 near Lakeshore Drive, noting that the motorcycle’s lights were off but were quickly activated, police said.
After leading officers in a pursuit south of the interstate, the rider lost control of the motorcycle on Bear Creek Road, police stated.
