Take a dip in Burger’s Lake

Located in Fort Worth, Burger’s Lake offers summer fun for everyone.

The main feature of this 30-acre park is a 1-acre spring-fed lake for swimming. Millions of gallons of clear spring water — chlorinated, filtered and maintained by a state-of-the-art purification system — top the sandy bottom.

The facility includes:

• Two sandy beaches for sunning, along with big trees for shade.

• Six diving boards, a 20-foot slide and a 25-foot trapeze.

• Huge inner tubes for rental.

• Certified lifeguards.

• 300 picnic tables and 185 charcoal grills.

• Sand and grass volleyball courts.

Burger’s Lake caters to churches, schools, youth groups and families, who can bring their own picnic or grab snacks at the facility’s food and beverage stand.

 To mantain a safe atmosphere, no alcoholic beverages are allowed, and pets are also prohibited.

The facility is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week through Labor Day.

Admission is $12 per person ages seven and up and $5 for children between one and six years of age. Babies are admitted free.

Burger’s Lake is located in Fort Worth near Jacksboro Highway (State Highway 199) and Loop 820.
