Longtime Aledo resident and Church At the Crossing member Rhoda Pearl Stevens went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 5, 2014.
Born in Millsap on Aug. 28, 1921, Pearl grew up and attended school in the Parker County area. On Oct. 1, 1938, she married Walter F. Stevens; and together they ultimately enjoyed making their home in Aledo.
Pearl was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. Upon raising their daughters, she worked for the Aledo ISD as the cafeteria coordinator and retired after 25 plus years.
Visitation for the family of Mrs. Stevens will be 6- 8 p.m. this Friday, April 11th, at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford.
The funeral service for Mrs. Stevens will be at 1 p.m. this Saturday, April 12th, at White's Chapel Of Memories in Weatherford.
Interment will be at Central Cemetery. Those who would like to make a memorial contribution in memory of Mrs. Stevens may do so by contributing to the American Lung Association in Fort Worth.
