Parker County commissioners have approved a change to Precinct No. 4 Commissioner Dusty Renfro’s 2013-14 discretionary fund projects, directing $43,657 in previously undesignated funds to road resurfacing and $34,500 to the Jenkins Road bridge in Annetta North.
“I have a list of 15 roadways that need crackseal and a bridge where the water is washing the concrete out,” Renfro said. “I’d like to direct money toward these 16 projects.”
White Settlement Road and E. Bankhead Drive will receive the lion’s share of the funding, $20,359 and $13,834 respectively, with McDavid Drive, McDavid Court, Woodridge Drive and Hunterglenn Drive targeted for more than $1,100.
Other roads on the list are Woodridge Court, Ravenwood Court, Highbrush Court, Greenleaf Drive, Greenleaf Court, Woodacre Court, Woodglen Court, Greenview Drive and Greenview Court.
Repairs to the cattle guard bridge on Jenkins Road will include the addition of two box culverts, Renfro said.
