WEATHERFORD — Sheriff’s Report
Burglary of a building
At approximately 8:45 a.m., a sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to 400 block of N. Floras Rd. Aledo, in reference to a theft.
Upon arrival, the deputy met with the complainant who said an unknown person entered his detached garage and removed property without his consent. A burglary of a building complaint was filed with the Parker County Sheriff’s Office.
At approximately 2 a.m., deputies were dispatched to an alarm call located at Hall’s Aledo Medicine Pharmacy on North FM 1187, Aledo, in reference to an alarm call with glass breakage. Upon arrival, deputies observed the east facing exterior glass door to be broken at the bottom portion. The complainant stated that he had no suspects and did not want to pursue criminal charges. The case was filed under criminal mischief.
Burglary of habitation
At approximately 3:55 p.m., deputies responded to the 600 block of Canyon Lake Drive, Aledo, in reference to a burglary investigation. Deputies met with the victim, 44, who stated that within the last week a television had been stolen from his barn residence. An investigation was generated for burglary of habitation, a second degree felony.
