Construction crews on the Aledo Trail Project are planning a traffic switch for the week of Feb. 3, according to Joel Kertok, Parker County project coordinator. The traffic switch will divert all vehicles into a one-way circle pattern through the downtown area. Traffic control signage to help guide motorists will be prominent. In addition, as of today, Jan. 28, Union Pacific Railroad will be closing the Chestnut Crossing permanently. This is to accommodate the new Aledo Trail crossing that will open with the scheduled traffic switch.
