Rangers catching legend Sundberg guest speaker at TCA fundraiser

WILLOW PARK – On Saturday, March 1, Trinity Christian Academy will host its biennial auction with the theme of “League of Our Own – Baseball, Apple Pie & TCA.”

The auction will be held in the Barber Gym and will feature a great meal as well as both live and silent auctions with some great items available. The special guest speaker will be Jim Sundberg, former Texas Ranger and current senior executive vice president of the Texas Rangers.

Dinner begins at 6 p.m. with a meet-and-greet available before dinner with a Home Run Table sponsorship. Home Run Tables are $400 (includes recognition in the bid book) and reserved tables are available for $200.

Individual tickets are $25. The community is invited to this fun evening at TCA.

  • ESD 1, Annetta South close on fire station site

    Parker County Emergency Services District No. 1 and Annetta South officials said Tuesday that the ESD is homing in on a site for a new fire station to serve residents in the Annettas and surrounding areas. Annetta South is expected to consider a zoning change to accommodate a new station next month.
