The Business Expo will bring together more than 60 businesses from around Parker County, exhibiting their products and services. There will be live demonstrations, games, free goodie bags, coupons galore, on-the-spot-shopping and drawings. Ample food trucks will be on hand with snacks and treats.

10th annual Parkfest 2013


Willow Park will celebrate its 50th year of incorporation with a family-friendly festival featuring live music from a variety of bands all day long. Food trucks, arts & crafts, a bounce house, a petting zoo, safety demonstrations by Willow Park Fire/Rescue and plenty of children’s games and activities are planned. A brochure and a five-minute slide show about the city’s history will be available, courtesy of East Parker County Geneology and Historical Society.

‘Mud, Sweat & Tears 2013’


Mud run to benefit Young Life Aledo, 1-mile for kids, 5k for adults.

Giveaways, a food truck, registered runners get a free meal and water.

Check-in at noon, kid run begins at 1 p.m., first heat for 5K begins at 2 p.m.

Sponsored by CrossFit City View.

Location is Clear Fork Materials, 800 Old Annetta Road, Aledo.

Early registration ensures a T-shirt and goody bag.

Registration prices lowered to $30 for the kid run and $50 for the 5K, with discounts for multiple family members.
