Primaries early voting period begins Tuesday

Early voting in the Republican and Democratic primary elections begins Tuesday and runs through Feb. 22.

During early voting, voters may cast their ballots at any of the early voting locations.

The main voting site is the Parker County Courthouse Annex, 1112 Santa Fe Drive, Weatherford.

Other early voting sites are:

• Springtown City Hall, 102 East 2nd St., Springtown.

• Peaster Fire Department, 221 Judd St., Peaster.

• Willow Park Municipal Building, 516 Ranch House Road, Willow Park.

• Aledo Community Center, 104 Robinson Court, Aledo.

• Old Brock ISD Administration Building, 100 Grindstone Road, Brock.

• Azle Masonic Lodge, 257 W. Main St., Azle.

Times and dates for early voting at all early voting sites are:

• Feb. 18-21 (Tuesday-Friday), 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Feb. 22 (Saturday), 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

• Feb. 23 (Sunday), 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Feb. 24-28 (Monday-Friday) 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

For applications for ballots by mail, call 817-598-6185. Applications for ballots by mail, due no later than Feb. 21, should be mailed to: Robert Parten, Early Voting Clerk, 1112 Santa Fe Drive, Weatherford, TX 76086.

  • ESD 1, Annetta South close on fire station site

    Parker County Emergency Services District No. 1 and Annetta South officials said Tuesday that the ESD is homing in on a site for a new fire station to serve residents in the Annettas and surrounding areas. Annetta South is expected to consider a zoning change to accommodate a new station next month.
