ALEDO — The Parker County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating suspects who burglarized the Aledo Bearcat Cafe convenience store early Wednesday morning.
The burglary was reported just before 1 a.m. in the 400 block of North FM 1187, according to a statement from the Parker County Sheriff's Office.
Security footage reportedly shows a male suspect with curly hair, wearing tan shorts, a T-shirt and a hooded sweatshirt and a female suspect wearing a T-shirt, black shorts, tennis shoes and her hair in a bun. Both suspects were wearing masks or head coverings and were wearing gloves, according to the sheriff's office.
The pair was reportedly seen on the recording forcefully breaking into the convenience store through a rear entrance, filling two large bags with merchandise, then exiting a short time later with about 30 cartons of cigarettes, retailed at about $1,500. The two then left in a small SUV, the sheriff's office reported.
