Margaret and Weldon Jordan, lifelong residents of Weatherford, will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary Jan. 17, 2008.
Weldon is the founder of Weldon & Bill Jordan Construction Company. He is still active and goes to the office daily. Margaret is active visiting area nursing homes once a week. They have been members of The First Methodist Church on South Main for the past 50 years.
Margaret and Weldon have two sons, Bill Jordan and wife, Nancy, of Weatherford and David Adams and wife, Frances, of Tyler, Texas. They have four grandchildren, Judy Jordan Giles and husband, Randy, Judd Jordan, Jeannie
Jordan Dietschy and husband, Dan, and Patrick Adams. They are blessed with six great-grandchildren, Jordan and Jason Bishop, Judson and Jacob Jordan, and Sara Jordan and John Reagan Dietschy.
Their family will honor them Jan. 12, Weldon’s 95th birthday, by hosting a celebration dinner for them and their friends.
