Jack & Joan Haile

Jack and Joan Haile celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 6, 2008, at the home of Juliann and Michael Wisdom.

A party was hosted by Juliann and Michael Wisdom, Russell Haile, Kim Sullivan and their grandchildren. The event consisted of a barbecue with family and a few close friends.

Jack retired from U.S. Postal Service in 1989 with 35 years of service. Before the children, Joan worked at First National Bank in Fort Worth. She was a homemaker after the children were born. The couple lived in Fort Worth until 1967. Since then Weatherford has been their home.

The couple has two children, Juliann Wisdom and Russell Haile, both of Weatherford; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
