Walt and Gail Tilley celebrate 50th anniversary

Gail Bundrick became the bride of Walt Tilley in Columbia, S.C., on June 28, 1963. After high school graduation for Gail and U.S. Navy service for Walt, the couple married and made their home in Columbia, S.C. They were both employed by the State of South Carolina and then Walt began his long career in sales.

After having lived in South Carolina, where their son Kevin was born in 1963, and Georgia, where their daughter, Kimberly, was born in 1969, Walt and Gail moved their family to Texas for an employment opportunity. After a short time in Arlington they moved to Weatherford, which has been home for almost 35 years, except for several years in Plano and Round Rock.

The Tilleys have been blessed in many ways over the years ... especially with their son Kevin, of Weatherford, their daughter Kimberly Mendolia and her husband, Tim, of Aledo, and four wonderful grandchildren – Coby , Tyson, AJ, and Randi. Also included are many extended family and friends!

A family dinner celebration was recently held at the home of their daughter and son in-lawful, Kimberly and Tim Mendolia. A trip to Colorado is planned later this year.

Walt and Gail wish to thank all who shared in their celebration and for all the expressions of love and best wishes.
