Martinos celebrate 60 years of marriage

Family and friends of Kaye and Paul Martino of Weatherford recently gathered to celebrate the couple’s 60th wedding anniversary.

Married on Sept. 4, 1953, in San Benito, Texas, the Martinos moved to Weatherford in 1964. The couple has been here since, except for five years in the mid-1980s when a job change took them to Arkansas.

Their children, Beth Lynn and Paul Dishman, of Provo, Utah, Sylvia and Joe Bierschenk, of Nacogdoches, and David and Lauri Martino, of Austin, hosted the celebration. Special out-of-town guests included granddaughter Deya Justice and her husband, David, and son, Will, all of Berea, Ohio; and Kaye’s sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue and Marshall Wortham, of Wimberley, and Mary and John Polk, of San Marcos.
