Aside from the quarterback tandem of Luke Bishop (pictured) and Ryan Newsome, defenders had a storehouse of other weapons in the Bearcat arsenal with which to contend. Bishop, who passed beyond efficiency while also a dire threat to run, was paired with Newsome’s talent at receiver, plus a viable menace when taking snaps at QB, as well.
