On Sept. 11, officers from the Parker County Retired Teachers visited the local office of State Rep. Phil King to present a thank you scroll for his support of SB 1458, which will allow Texas retired teachers to receive a raise. Parker County retirees signed a second scroll that was sent to State Sen. Craig Estes for his support.
