Aledo senior Briana Sharratt was named Most Valuable Player for 2012 in District 7-4A. Sharratt (right), shown here during the state semifinal match against Friendswood, averaged more than four kills per set and tallied 31 aces during the district season. Other Aledo superlatives included Mallory Powell (Most Valuable Setter) and Sara Smith, who tied for Most Valuable Blocker.
