Macey Thaxton and friend, William, recently presented a check to CASA-Hope For Children, in the amount of $115 as part of the monies they raised through their ‘Sweet Treats’ bake sale. They baked, then sold, the items the week of Valentine’s Day in downtown Aledo. They were able to visit the Parker County Courthouse and meet County Court-at-Law No. 2 Judge Ben Akers and his staff.
