1220 FB AHS v Ennis TAnderson TD reception

Aledo senior Taco Anderson zeroes in a 22-yard TD pass from junior quarterback Luke Bishop to cap off the Bearcats’ 19 unanswered third-quarter points in the Class 4A, Division II semi-final contest against the Ennis Lions. Aledo and Ennis battled to a 0-0 first half score before the Bearcats pulled away in the contest, prevailing 29-6. Though the weather forecast calls for colder temperatures and precipitation in Arlington on Saturday, the closed-roof venue of AT&T Stadium negates any game-altering effects, so the Aledo passing game, approaching 3,000 yards on the season, remains in the offensive weapons mix for Saturday’s final.
