Weatherford 11-year-old Texas Regulator middle infielder/pitcher, Logan Hewitt, was recently selected to be a part of USSSA’s Team Texas, joining nine other Texas athletes who will compete in the Winter World Championships in Kissimee, Fl. Team Texas is a group of kids put together through USSSA’s Texas Amateur Baseball and the Amateur Baseball Report. Each year they select top talent from around the state to compete against other state based teams. Hewitt pitched two games for Team Texas and also filled in at shortstop and second base. The Texas boys, finished with a record of 6-0 and were crowned tournament champions.
