A new courthouse enhancement committee, chaired by Donna Tillman, is raising funds to decorate the historic courthouse for Christmas. Judge Mark Riley suggested Monday that the committee sell prints of an early Americana version of the square commissioned by First National Bank in the 1990s. The original oil painting, by George Hallmark, hangs in the bank. Pictured are Commissioner Craig Peacock, County Attorney John Forrest, Commissioner Larry Walden and Judge Riley.
