Weatherford sophomore Jeuqwan Brownlee’s 80 yards on 16 carries helped the Roo offfense in the District 3-5A finale on Friday at Roo Stadium, but it was his 105-yard kickoff return touchdown that sparked Weatherford’s fourth-quarter barrage of scoring. Down 28-6 after three quarters, the Kangaroos put up 28 points in the final period, but ran out of time, falling to Arlington Sam Houston, 42-34. WHS finished the year with a 1-9 overall record.
