0915 FB WHS v Burleson JBrownlee at goal line

Weatherford sophomore running back Jeuqwan Brownlee (24) shown here pulling a pair of Burleson defenders with him as he stretches for the end zone in the third quarter on Friday, provided a spark for the Roo running attack. Brownlee gained 109 yards on 10 carries and had three touchdowns on runs of 15, 1 and 27 yards. The Roos go into their bye week looking for the season’s first win. District 3-5A play for WHS will begin Thursday, Sept. 26, when they travel to meet Arlington Bowie.
