A large group of Parker County and City of Weatherford officials and business leaders surround Mary Ann Williamson, widow of the late Ric Williamson, and Melissa Meyer, their daughter as they hold the scissors in preparation of cutting the ribbon to open a new segment of the Ric Williamson Memorial Highway. Wednesday’s ceremony opened up the portion of the highway from U.S. Highway 180 north to Farm-to-Market Road 920. The highway is now open from U.S. 180 north to State Highway 51.
