    Parker County commissioners are expected to meet this morning to finalize distributing coverage of the Silver Creek fire district after two of about four regularly responding Silver Creek VFD firefighters recently gave notice they would no longer be responding to calls.

    Judge Trey Loftin has granted a plea to the jurisdiction on behalf of local taxing entities, ruling that the 43rd District Court has no authority to hear a case involving Aledo and Willow Park homeowners claiming an illegal assessment of back taxes.
