A Special Place

(Continued)

“We’re definitely the liveliest place in Weatherford,” Cantrell said. “The vendors will come in and check their booth and stay and visit for 45 minutes or an hour, which has been just wonderful.”

The Kellers and Cantrell were looking forward to having business expand in the spring where they could open the doors and let the fresh air in. Having the two businesses in one space has helped both, all three people agree.

“Having the florist here has helped the craft mall and vice versa,” Trena Keller said. “It’s been great for both parties as I’ve worked on floral arrangements for a funeral and the customers were walking around the mall while they waited.”

Both parties expect the union to continue to grow and prosper. Old Town Antiques is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday but could “on a whim” be open Sundays as well, Cantrell said. A Special Place is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
