New blooms

(Continued)

Foot traffic had slowed at the shop for a time because of the atmosphere there but has begun to pick back up, still being “hit or miss” depending on the day. Dando says the store will slowly undergo a transformation with the hope of bringing a new vibe in.

“We want to provide a new twist on floral design and try some different things that people haven’t considered,” Dando said.

The shop not only offers beautiful designs by Dando, Samantha Richmon, and Ashley Kennedy, but silk flower arrangements, regular plants, wreaths, gift baskets and a number of crosses for any special (or non-special) event. While some shop renovations have been done, others are still necessary, including replacing the floor.

“We have changed our logo already and are looking forward to doing some other renovations when we get some money,” Dando said.

Remebrance Flower Shop is open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday while being closed Sundays. For more information, call 817-594-2751, like their Facebook page or visit www.remembranceflowershop.com.
