Crime Report

Theft

n Nov. 14, At the 1800 block of Martin Drive, a complainant reported that between Nov. 10 and Nov. 14, unknown suspects had stolen three rings from a resident at the Martin Crest assisted living center.

n Nov. 16, At the 1200 block of Van Winkle Street, a complainant reported that between Nov. 1 and Nov. 8, unknown suspects had stolen a Kawasaki 85cc motorcycle and a go-cart from the back yard of the residence.



Burglary of a vehicle

n Nov. 15, At 148 I-20 East, a complainant reported that between 8:15 and 9:10 p.m., unknown suspects had forced entry into her vehicle by breaking out a window. The complainant reported that she was unable to determine if anything was missing from the vehicle at the time of the report.



Criminal mischief

n Nov. 14, At the 1000 block of West Oak Street, a complainant reported that between 9 a.m. Nov. 13 and 11 a.m. Nov. 14, unknown suspects had damaged a vehicle by breaking out the rear windshield with an unknown object.

n Nov. 15, At the 2100 block of Sagebrush Drive, a complainant reported that between Nov. 14 and Nov. 15, unknown suspects damaged a vehicle by breaking out the driver’s side window with an unknown object.



Assault

n Nov. 15, At the 900 block of South Main Street, a complainant reported that during a confrontation with a known female suspect, she was assaulted when the suspect slapped her on the face with an open hand.

n Nov. 16, At the 2100 block of Holly Oaks Drive, a complainant reported that she was assaulted by a known male suspect while at her residence. The complainant reported that for no apparent reason, the suspect became angry and started attempting to strangle her by placing his hands around her neck. The complainant stated that she was able to get away from the suspect at which time he left the residence. The case is currently being investigated by Police detectives. The complainant reported minor injuries due to the assault.
