Heritage Family Dance Night hosted by Heritage Covenant Church. Harberger Hill Community Center, 701 Narrow, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. All ages welcome. “Cookies with Santa” — The Bluebonnet Reading Council invites everyone to come have “Cookies with Santa” at Lark Bookstore from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Those purchasing any type of book to donate to the WISD Book Closet will receive a 15 percent discount on all purchases during this timeframe. Other items to remember: Bring your own cameras for pictures with Santa; Hot Chocolate and cookies will be served. Ladies Auxiliary Chicken Fried Steak Night at VFW Post 4746, 6 to 8 p.m. $8 per person includes chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, two vegetables, salad and bread. This event repeats every month on the third Friday. Pool tournament is 8 p.m. every Friday. Non-members welcome. The VFW is located at 224 Zion Hill Road.
