Weatherford High School junior marksman receives training from U.S. Olympians

Weatherford High School air rifle ace Mindy Miles recently had an opportunity to be coached by Olympians returning from London at the Fort Benning’s Army Marksmanship Unit in Georgia.

Miles, a junior, is the reigning Texas State Junior Olympic Champion in Women’s Air Rifle.

Her mother, Darla, is an English teacher at the WHS Ninth Grade Center.
