Trinity Christian Academy announced the selection of Ken Nobles as its new secondary principal.
He and his wife, Gretchen, come to TCA from Northlake Christian School in Covington, La., a suburb of New Orleans. Nobles graduated from William Carey University with a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and English. He completed his master’s degree in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Ken is dedicated to Christian education and has 16 years experience as a teacher and leader in Christian schools on the secondary level, seven of those at TCA (1997-2004).
He has served in many capacities, including athletic director, Bible Department head, basketball and volleyball coach and teacher mentor for first- and second-year teachers. Currently, Nobles serves as Department Head for the NCS Creative Arts Department and teaches AP English, Creative Writing, Bible and Praise Team.
“I started my educational career at TCA, and I am thrilled to be returning,” he said. “Trinity is a special place where anyone would be honored to serve. I firmly believe God has called me to be your principal and I am excited about working with parents, faculty and students to help make TCA everything God wants it to be.”
