TCA’s Guynes receives CSAF honor

Calib Guynes, incoming freshman at Trinity Christian Academy in Willow Park, was awarded the Christian School Athletic Fellowship Junior High Scholar Athlete Award for his accomplishments in athletics and the classroom during his eighth-grade year.

Each year, CSAF gives this award to one junior high athlete within the league. To be considered for this honor, Calib had to excel in athletics, be an “A Honor Roll” student and write an essay describing the “Life Lessons I’ve learned through Christian Athletics.”

Calib was a key contributor on TCA’s junior high football team that won the CSAF Regional & East/West Championship, a starter on the junior high basketball team that won the regional championship, and a starter on the junior high baseball team that finished the season as the regional runner-up.
