WC trustee steps down after 4 years

The board also:

• Heard WC president Kevin Eaton’s recognitions to Brent Baker for his leadership with the capital campaign, Carol Eppright for her personal donations to the campaign, Donnie Purvis and Michael Endy, for their appointments to the Texas Association of Financial Aid Administrators and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Advisory Committee, and the WC business office for its efforts in helping an employee’s family raise funds after the flooding in Colorado.

• Awarded bids to C.D. Hartnett Foodservice, Ben E. Keith, Sysco USA and Oak Farms Dairy for food service products and supplies.

• Heard the progress of the Strategic Plan and Facilities Plan, presented by Eaton, as well as facility upgrades from recent years and new projects to consider for the future.
