WHS Winterguard ranks third at Aledo competition

The Weatherford High School Winterguard ranked third out of 16 other Winterguard programs at the recent North Texas Colorguard Association competition in Aledo.

This is the first of three competitions leading up to the state championship competition at the end of March.

The WHS Colorguard also competes during the fall with the WHS Roo Marching Band at UIL and non-UIL competitions.

Members of the WHS Winterguard include senior Jennifer Sharp, freshmen Rylie Bonham, sophomore Taylor Lemon, junior Sam Wells, sophomore Josiah Parsons, freshman Haylee Reynolds, freshman Taylor Lothridge, freshman Tori Herndon, freshman Erika Stenzel, sophomore Courtney Patterson, sophomore Tayler Lessig, sophomore Tawnee Mahurin, freshman Yuliza Ramos-Torres, sophomore Taylor Blakenship, sophomore Caitlin Cook, second lieutenant; senior Logan Baird, captain; and senior Emily Prince, first lieutenant.
