Engagements

Danny and Dianna Brown of Weatherford are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter Kelsey Danielle Brown to Brian Douglas Morris of Lubbock, the son of Doug and Gwen Morris of Lubbock.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at North Side Baptist Church in Weatherford.

Kelsey will graduate May 2009 from Lubbock Christian University with an elementary education major.

Brian is a 2004 graduate of Lubbock Christian University and is a sales/service manager for Retail Merchant Association in Lubbock. Maternal grandparents are Darlene Dickey of Canyon, John and Rama Brown of Weatherford, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dickey of Weatherford.



Ukena, Bryant to wed

Todd Ukena and Mikela Moss-Ukena of Weatherford are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Mikela Ukena, to Shane Bryant of Levelland, Texas. Shane is the son of Steve and Natalie Bryant of Lubbock, Texas.

Mikela is a 2004 graduate of Weatherford High School. She will graduate Magna Cum Laude from Angelo State University in May, 2009, with a Bachelor of Arts in History and English. She will begin law school at Texas Wesleyan School of Law in Fort Worth in August, 2009.

Shane is a 2004 graduate of Levelland High School. He will graduate Cum Laude from Angelo State University in May, 2009, with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Biology specializing in Exercise and Sports Sciences. He is currently employed as a physical therapy technician at Meadow Creek Rehabilitation in San Angelo, Texas.

The couple will be married at 7 p.m. June 6, 2009, at Monterey Church of Christ in Lubbock, Texas.
