Weatherford High School art teacher Kathy Cunning used a Vincent van Gogh display banner to teach her students about the famed artist’s life and work. Cunning won a grant which allows Weatherford High School access to six banners for one-week intervals throughout the school year. Cunning said the art department chose artists, such as van Gogh, Remington and Harlem Renaissance painters, who would connect to Weatherford High School students.
