I’m proud to live in an America where our great president has passed a health care bill, after five presidents (Republican and Democratic) over the last 50 years tried and failed. I want my America to be a place where not only the rich can receive affordable health care by all citizens alike. Here’s to you, President Obama. It saddens me to hear disrespectful and pernicious comments about the man who holds the highest office of our great country. I hope that good people all across Parker County will join me in prayer for our elected leadership.
I am thankful that under the leadership of President Obama we have seen Wall Street reform in 2010, our troops pull out of Iraq in 2011 and hundreds of thousands of troops pulled out of harms way in Afghanistan. Under his leadership our cities and towns have been safe from Al-Qaeda and Taliban in the war against terrorism with tough foreign policy like removing Osama Bin Laden. Thank you, President Obama, for turning the auto industry around and recapitalizing banks in a time of crisis.
Thanks for repealing “Don’t ask, don’t tell.” Thanks for improving America’s image abroad. Thanks for you leadership that is pointing the way to clean energy.
Here’s to you, President Obama. It’s no wonder that you are the sixth president to have been elected twice.
We don’t need less government — we need more good leadership. Who will I vote for next election? Well I can tell you who I won’t vote for. I will not vote for a party that has lost its vision, a party that stands for nothing except to undermine the existing president.
I am going to take a good hard look at Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden. I loved Clinton’s book, ‘It takes a village,’ and I am going to read her new book. I loved the way Joe Biden held himself and expressed his views in the vice presidential debates. I hope that both these great Americans throw their hats in for the next election.
