Lummus, Towson unite in marriage

Courtney Lynn Lummus and Ryan Earl Towson were united in marriage the afternoon of Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014.

Father Joseph S. Scantlin, of Arlington, officiated the Catholic ceremony at Most Blessed Sacrament. Dinner and dancing immediately followed at the reception at the Fort Worth Club, where music was provided by DJ William Ryan. On the eve of the wedding, the Honorable and Mrs. Craig Towson hosted a rehearsal dinner at Pappasito’s Cantina. 

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lucky Lummus, of Arlington. The groom is the son of the Honorable and Mrs. Craig Towson, of Weatherford.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory Mori Lee gown designed by Madeline Gardner. 

Kimberly Logan, of Mansfield, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kacy Duncan, Anique Olguin and Laura Towson. Scarlett and Dexter Haun served as flower girl and ring bearer.

Serving as Ryan’s best man was Matthew Towson. His groomsmen were Joshua King, Jonathon Galvan and Joshua Koch. Jonathon Hurley, Peter Thompson and William Gibson served as ushers. 

Courtney is in the hospitality industry with the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Grapevine. Ryan serves as a logistics captain in the U.S. Army, currently stationed at Fort Hood. 

The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The couple will be moving to Fort Lee, Va., at the end of April.
