Wells celebrate 50th anniversary

John and Juretta Wells on Friday celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

They were married Aug. 9, 1963, at First Baptist Church in White Settlement by Rev. Miller. John and Juretta established their home in Weatherford in 1968, raising four daughters – Jamee Long, Jill Moore, Joi Macy and Jennifer Thomason. They also have give grandchildren and one great-grandson.

The Wells are longtime members of Friendship Baptist Church and are enjoying retirement.
