Staff Report
Two men charged with the suspected theft of an ATV from a business parking lot are free on $5,000 bail.
The alleged thieves were arrested by SCU investigators a week ago, responding to suspicious activity in the 3400 block of Fort Worth Highway in Hudson Oaks.
According to Lt. Mike Camp of the Weatherford Parker County Special Crimes Unit, the arrests resulted from a Crimestoppers tip alerting investigators to a potential theft from the same location earlier this month.
Camp said the tip provided a description of a suspect vehicle possibly used in the heist.
Arrested in the case was 22-year-old Matthew Everson Westbrook of Weatherford and 35-year-old Terry Leon Swindle Jr. of Granbury.
