On-air forum scheduled for candidates

— Local radio station KYQX FM is hosting a forum for mayoral and city council candidates Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.
Incumbent Dennis Hooks and challenger Tom McLaughlin are vying to be Weatherford's mayor. Local businesswoman Tawni Maughan is challenging incumbent Waymon Hamilton for his seat on the council.
According to station manager John Peterson, all four candidates are scheduled to participate.
Early voting for municipal elections runs through Tuesday. Election day is Saturday, May 10.
