A disruptive weekend party resulted in more than one dozen parents being called in the middle of the night.
Two men were arrested and recently made bond for providing 18 minors with alcohol during a party in the 600 block of West Ball Street.
Officers made contact with the homeowners after neighbors called complaining about the loud noises resulting from the party.
Police officials said more than half of the party-goers were underage and drinking alcohol around 1 a.m. just before Mother’s Day.
“There were 18 minors-in-consumption-of-alcohol citations issued to juveniles all under the age of 21,” said Weatherford Police Detective Wendy Field.
The homeowners, identified as Paul Jacob Miles, 20; and Michael Anthony St. Pierre, 21, were arrested and charged with purchase/furnish alcohol to a minor.
Both men posted bond in the amount of $1,000 each, and were released later that day.
