A tip provided by a local pawn clerk led to the arrest of three Aledo teenagers suspected of perpetrating a recent home burglary.

An Xbox game system, games, a GPS system, a digital camera and numerous jewelry items were reported stolen from a home in the 100 block of Tealwood Lane May 6.

During the investigation that followed, a clerk reported witnessing three suspects who pawned items similar to those reported stolen.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, two of the suspects implicated themselves in the crime during subsequent interviews.

Aledo residents Seth Allen Waters, 17, Jessey Lee Dollar, 17, and Bradley Travis Olsen, 19, were taken into custody Sunday, charged with burglary of a habitation.

Waters, who was also arrested by Willow Park Police in March for burglary of a building, remained jailed Monday.

Authorities did not disclose the name of the pawn shop or the identity of the vigilant clerk.
