Party crashers who stabbed two males at a weekend birthday party remain at large.

According to the Parker County Sheriff’s Office, a group of friends were celebrating numerous birthdays over the weekend at a residence in the 1300 block of Finney Road off Veal Station Road, when three Hispanic males and one white male “crashed” the party.

Parker County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Jim Lasater said no one at the party knew the men who “just showed up unannounced.”

According to the report, the men were rude and insulting to party guests, wearing what could be considered gang attire.

Lasater said the report read the men were wearing red clothing and bandannas.

He added the men arrived at the party in two separate vehicles, were abusive and trying to pick a fight with people at the gathering.

Lasater said two of the Hispanic suspects apparently stabbed two males after the suspects became physically violent with two women.

Patrol Sgt. Kevin Salters responded to the call. Witnesses told Salters the men were asked to leave and when they refused, they began “shoving people around and acting obnoxious.”

According to witnesses, the men who were stabbed were defending the girls. The men reportedly hit a female victim in the stomach and pushed another woman to the ground when two men stepped in.

“When they jumped in to assist them, they said that’s when the suspects displayed knives,” Salters said.

Deputy Ben Overholt drove to the hospital to take the victims’ statements.

Overholt said the victims told him the fight broke out when the suspects were asked to leave.

“They got into a scuffle as they were leaving, but it was not known what [the fight] was over,” Overholt said.

He added one of the victims was stabbed three times, twice in the left rib cage and once in the lower back, while the other victim was stabbed once in the right side.

The victim who was stabbed multiple times was flown to Harris Northwest Hospital in Azle. He was treated and later released.

The other male victim was taken downtown Fort Worth to John Peter Smith Hospital by ground ambulance.

As of Saturday, Lasater said the man remained hospitalized. He noted the extent of the victims injuries are unknown.

“We don’t believe any of the injuries were life-threatening,” Lasater said. “We may have a possible ID on the white male.”

Witnesses did not give further descriptions of the men to authorities and no arrests have been made.

Anyone with information pertaining to the incident or case is encouraged to call the Parker County Sheriff’s Office at (817) 596-3131.
