WEATHERFORD — A group of Parker and Palo Pinto County residents are planning their second trip to Austin in less than a month, this time to protest a Royalco Oil and Gas Corp. disposal well.
The first hearing, against Bridgeport Tank Trucks L.L.C., was settled when lawyers from both sides agreed on various compromises.
The particulars of the settlement have not yet been revealed, but protester Randall Grard said Bridgeport was very accommodating to the protester’s wishes.
He did not expect the same success with Royalco.
The hearing will be held before the Railroad Commission of Texas Thursday.
Registration information for citizens who wish to speak at the hearing is available on the commission’s Web site, www.rrc.state.tx.us, or by calling (512) 463-6792.
