Christian school announces first homecoming court

Weatherford Christian School recognized homecoming royalty last weekend, crowning Molly Foland as Pride Queen and Tucker Bomar as Pride King.

Other members of the court included seniors Katelyn Boone, Duncan Bandeberry, Lizzy Brandeberry and Tanner Leatherman.

Jordan Warren and Theiss Brown represented the freshman class, Maggie McCormick and J.R. Kiska the sophomore class, and Jessica Steensma and Jesse Walton the junior class.

The ceremony took place at halftime of the Weatherford Christian School six-man football game against Tree of Life Christian School of San Angelo.

TLC came out on top in the last 10 seconds with a final score of 48-41.

The Lions host Azle Christian Friday at 7:30 at Hall Middle School.
