Police searching for suspects

Weatherford Police officials are limiting details of a murder which occurred Tuesday at an apartment complex on West Bridge Street.

The victim, Jeremy Ryan Sisk, 24, a member of Skard Soul, a heavy metal rock band, was found dead inside a Woodbridge apartment from a single gunshot to the face.

A message was posted on the band’s Myspace page stating “R.I.P. Jeremy Sisk — we love you!”

Numerous condolences were posted from many of the band’s friends and family members who are angry about the death of Sisk.

The site also states the family is taking donations through Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Home in Weatherford to help offset the cost of the funeral.

Band and family members are asking for photos of Jeremy be brought to the funeral to be displayed as a tribute to Sisk. The viewing is scheduled Friday from noon to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The family is expected to be at the viewing Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Funeral services are to be held Monday at Annetta Cemetery at 4 p.m.

The pavilion at Cherry Park was reserved for the wake following the funeral.

The band also posted a blog message found on the page, “To all of our family and our friends ... we have lossed (sic) a dear friend and a brother ... Jeremy Sisk, the guitarist for Skard Soul was murdered on October 21st 2008. He will be missed deeply. To anyone who knew him ... knew that he was a great person who loved everyone that he ever met. Could always make you smile no matter what. A great individual who was taken from us too soon. May he rest in peace and as he looks down upon us may we smile back knowing that one day we will jam and be together again. Thank you

Skard Soul.”

Police sent a media release to news outlets Wednesday identifying two suspects, stating they received information the pair are members of the Aryan Brotherhood.

Police are seeking Johnny Preston Reed, 37, and Guy Evan Graves, 35. Both men are wanted on murder charges. Authorities are also seeking a 1995 brown Chevrolet extended cab pickup with a white bed, license plate number 04FZG1, which the men could be driving.

“Both individuals are considered armed and dangerous,” said Weatherford Police Capt. Greg Lance in the release. “Anyone coming into contact with these two individuals are asked to use caution and contact their local authorities immediately.”

Weatherford Police authorities would not answer further questions Wednesday, stating the information in the press release was all they were advised to make public.

A bloody handprint was found on the brick building outside the apartment Tuesday at the crime scene, which was taped off.

The investigation is ongoing with the help of Weatherford-Parker County Special Crimes Unit.

Authorities will not confirm or deny allegations of drugs being involved in the case.

Rumors have circled the city of an argument over money between the victim and the suspects moments prior to the murder.
