Deputies were dispatched about 5:17 p.m. Tuesday were called to a residence in the 1400 block of Cottondale Road in Springtown in reference to a burglary. A resident said he arrived home about 5 p.m. to find the back door open and several pieces of miscellaneous jewelry missing.
About 5:05 p.m. Tuesday deputies were dispatched to the 3800 block of Highway 199 in Springtown in reference to a reported vehicle burglary. The complainant stated that sometime between 7 p.m. Sunday and 4 p.m. Tuesday someone entered both his vehicles and removed property.
Deputies were dispatched to the 4600 block of Knob Road in Springtown in reference to a criminal mischief where the complainant said between the hours 5:15-5:45 a.m. Tuesday someone broke a window on her home, causing approximately $25 in damage.
About 8:30 a.m. Tuesday deputies were dispatched to the 4600 block of Knob Road in Springtown in reference to a reported burglary. Before arriving, officers said they noticed a blue Nissan four-door driving west bound in the 4600 block of Knob Road. The Nissan pulled into the driveway at the above address.
The driver exited the vehicle and identified himself as Othe Leonard Wallis, 45, of Boyd, began talking with a deputy. Wallis was arrested for wrong or fictitious, altered or obscured insignia and fictitious counterfeit, altered or obscured inspection.
A passenger, Teresa L Harris, 50, of Lake Worth, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces. Both Harris and Wallis were transported to the Parker County Jail where they remained on Wednesday.
A man said sometime over the past several weeks someone used a pellet gun to damage several glass windows and sheet metal on a vehicle in the 100 block of Gamet Road in Springtow. The damage was estimated at $1,150.
