Helping with Hope

WEATHERFORD — Texas Workforce Solutions of North Central Texas’ Weatherford office employees made a donation of 125 pounds of food to the Center of Hope Thursday afternoon.

Account manager Claudia Bowden said employees gave from their heart, which made it even more special.

Center of Hope Executive Director Paula Robinson said it was obvious people made careful decisions about what to give and not just something no one wanted to eat.

Residents of Parker County will have their own opportunity to help Center of Hope and those in need this Saturday. Snow Garrett Williams Certified Public Accountants will host their ninth annual food drive benefiting Center of Hope from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Walmart, 1836 S. Main St. in Weatherford.

The Ranch, 95.9 will be broadcasting live from 10 a.m. to noon. Cash donations will also be accepted, with checks made payable to Center of Hope.
