Weatherford Art Association artists of the month

The Weatherford Art Association selected its Artists of the Month of May at the monthly meeting. 

First place was Jo Cheatham for her oil painting “Empty Boat.” Jo’s art will be on display at the First National Bank on Palo Pinto until the end of July. 

Second place is Jay Summers with “Ruby’s Snack”.  His art will be on display at the First Financial Bank on the Weatherford Square until the end of July.  Third place is Jack Eidson with “Donnell Mill”.  Jack’s art will be on display at the Fort Worth Community Credit Union until the end of July.  

Winner of the raffle painting by artist Carolyn Walker from Colorado City was Jo Cheatham.

WAA art camp is still taking reservations for summer art classes for children in kindergarten through grade 6, at the Firehouse Gallery.
